Saija Candelin makes versatile art with different techniques and materials. Traditional techniques are close to her heart, but she is familiar with digital art-making too. Candelin held her first art exhibition in 2006. Nowadays she has numerous annual exhibitions and she makes artworks on commissions for companies and private homes.

Candelin is inspired by life itself, with all its cracks and shades. For her, art is a way of life, which she intends to carry out in one way or another until her last breath. Making art is first of all about seeing things and bringing visions from imagination to be seen in our dimension.

Sometimes everything appears in black and white, only sprinkled with occasional shades of gray. At times, her artistic expression includes all the shades of the rainbow with different nuances without forgetting the shimmer of metal.
